Hugs to you



Hello Blogging Friends!!


I was away at a Scrapbooking Retreat and had a wonderful time!  But I am having a hard time getting back into the swing of things after being catered to all weekend! Anyway, if I have been missing in action and not commenting on your blogs it is because I was away and I will be catching up in the next couple of days!



I am sharing with you another card that I made for the Cards for Little Hearts Card Drive.


The Cards for Little Hearts Card Drive will run through the month of January.  This is a card drive dedicated to bringing smile, hope and encouragement to Congenital Heart patients.


 For this Card Drive you are to make HEART THEMED thinking of you cards.  For more information about Cards for Little Hearts and the 3 different collections, please visit the website:  www.cardsforlittlehearts.com




Here is my card:



Ingredients:

White card stock
Scalloped Square die
Black ink
Victorian Velvet distress ink
Assorted paper from my stash
Copic markers

For this A2 card I started with white card stock for the base of the card.  I took the patterned paper, inked the edges with black ink and added them to the card.  I stamped the Penny Black Share a Hug stamp with black ink onto some watercolor paper and then colored it in with Copic markers.  I cut it out with the scalloped square die, inked the edges with Victorian Velvet distress ink and added it to the card.  I took the My Favorite Things Lots of Hugs stamp set and black ink and stamped the sentiment on the lower right corner of the card.


For this A2 card I started with white card stock for the base of the card.  I took the patterned paper, inked the edges with Spun Sugar distress ink and added that to the card.  I took the Penny Black Share a Hug mice, some black ink and some watercolor paper and stamped the stamp onto the paper.  I colored the image in with Copic markers and then cut it out with the Lil' Inker Designs Stitched Squares dies.  I placed that onto some pink heart paper and then cut that out with the next size up Stitched Square and placed that onto the card.  I took the My Favorite Things Lots of Hugs stamp set some black ink and some white paper and stamped the sentiment onto the white paper.  I cut the fish tail end on the banner and added that to more of the pink heart paper and cut the fish tail end on that banner and then attached it to the card.

You Are My Love Puffin

I am sharing with you another card that I made for the Cards for Little Hearts Card Drive.

Here is my card:



Ingredients:

White card stock
Watercolor paper
Black ink
Copic markers
Assorted paper from my stash
Victorian Velvet distress ink

For this A2 card I started with white card stock for the base of my card.  I took the heart paper, inked the edges with Victorian Velvet distress ink and added it to the card.  I took some dusty pink paper and cut it out with the Birch Press Design Dainty Stitched Heart Border die and added it to the card.  I stamped the Avery Elle Love Puffin stamp onto watercolor paper with black ink.  I colored the puffins in with Copic markers.  I took some more of the dusty pink paper and the My Favorite Things Die-namics Stitched Square Scallop Frames die and cut out the square frame and attached that to the watercolor paper with the puffins, I inked the edges with more Victorian Velvet distress ink and I added it to the card.  I took the sentiment from the Love Puffin stamp set and stamped it onto the bottom right of the card with black ink.

DL.ART THANKFUL THURSDAY CHALLENGE #220 ~ WINTER

DL.ART THANKFUL THURSDAY CHALLENGE #229 ~ WINTER



Here is my card:


Ingredients:

DL.ART Vintage Vineyard (Summer Edition) Rose Crinkle Ribbon
Whimsy Stamps Snowman String of Hearts stamp
My Favorite Things Die-namics Stitched Dome Frames die
White card stock
Watercolor paper
Plaid paper
Black ink
Copic markers

For this A2 card I started with white card stock for the base of the card.  I took the plaid paper and added that to the card base.  I stamped the Whimsy Stamps Snowman String of Hearts stamp with black ink onto watercolor paper.  I colored the image in with Copic markers and then cut it out with the My Favorite Things Die-namics Stitched Dome Frames die and added that to the card.  I took the DL.ART Vintage Vineyard (summer edition) Rose Crinkle Ribbon and made a bow and attached that to the card.

Dinosaur Hugs

Here is my card:



Ingredients:

Dinosaur digi stamp I found on Pinterest
White card stock
Watercolor paper
Printed paper
Copic markers
Black ink

For this A2 card I started with white card stock for the base of the card.  I took the heart print paper, inked the edges with black ink and then added that to the card base.  I printed out the dinosaur digi onto watercolor paper, colored it with Copic markers and then cut it out with the Lawn Fawn Stitched Oval die.  I then took the My Favorite Things Lots of Hugs stamp set and stamped one of the sentiments onto the oval with black ink, inked the edges with black ink and then added that to the card.  I think this card will make some little boy happy, don't you?

Sending Hugs

Ingredients:

White card stock
Heart paper
Black ink
Copic markers
Black ink
Evergreen bough distress ink
Assorted paper from my stash

For this A2 card I started with white card stock for the base of the card.  I took the heart paper, inked the edges with Evergreen bough distress ink and then added it to the card.  I stamped the Wild Rose Studio Dog with Heart stamp with black ink onto watercolor paper.  I colored the dog with Copic markers and then fussy cut him out and added him to the card.  I took the Winnie and Walter Big Hugs stamp set sentiment and stamped it with black ink onto the pink paper and then added that to the card.  I took a thin strip of blue paper and put that on the left side of the card.

Dragon Hugs

My Favorite Things BB Magical Dragons stamp set
Mr Favorite Things BB Magical Dragons dies
Poppystamps Love Balloon dies
Hugs sentiment
Black ink
Copic markers
Assorted paper from my stash
White card stock
Watercolor paper

For this A2 card I started with white card stock for the base of the card.  I took the patterned paper, inked the edges with black ink and then added it to the card.  I stamped one of the dragons from the  My Favorite Things BB Magical Dragons stamp set with black ink onto watercolor paper.  I colored in the dragon with Copic markers and then cut him out with the My Favorite Things BB Magical Dragons dies and glued him onto the card.  I took the Poppystamps Love Balloon dies and the pink polka dot paper and cut out the balloons and then added them to the card. I stamped the sentiment with black ink onto the card.

Big Hugs

Whimsy Stamps Penguin Loves Bunny stamp
My Favorite Things Lots of Hugs stamp set
Memory Box Stitched Circle dies
White card stock
Watercolor paper
Heart paper
Black ink
Copic markers
Picked Raspberry distress ink

For this A2 card I started with white card stock for the base of the card.  I took the heart paper, inked the edges with Picked Raspberry distress ink and then added it to the card.  I stamped the Whimsy Stamps Penguin Loves Bunny stamp with black ink onto some watercolor paper.  I colored the image with Copic markers and then I cut it out with the Memory Box Stitched Circle dies and added that to the card.  I stamped the My Favorite Things Lots of Hugs sentiment onto white paper, cut it out with the smallest Memory Box Stitched Circle die and then I put some pop-dots on the back of it and added that to the card.


I am entering this card in the Whimsy Stamps Challenge #102 ~ Anything Goes.
